Charles Thompson tells jurors Home Depot discharged Patricia Tillotson after an internal audit found she and others were providing improper discounts. Tillotson sued the company claiming it discriminated against her on the basis of age and disability and failed to protect her from retaliation after she reported improper employee conduct.

The California state court jury ultimately found Home Depot failed to provide reasonable accommodations for Tillotson's disabilities but rejected claims that age or disability played a role in the discharge.
