Maryann Gallagher tells jurors Home Depot lacks evidence to support its claim that it fired Patricia Tillotson following an alleged audit that revealed she was part of a group of employees providing improper discounts. Tillotson sued the DIY giant, claiming it discharged her because of her age and disabilities, and failed to protect her from retaliation following her report of improper practices at the store.

Jurors ultimately found Home Depot did not provide Tillotson with reasonable accommodations for her physical condition and awarded her $175,500. However, they rejected claims that age or disability were factors in her discharge.
