In this Engle progeny tobacco litigation proceeding, plaintiff Virginia Williams (personal representative of the estate of Milton Williams) alleged R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes manufactured by the company which got her husband Milton Williams addicted to smoking and of being liable of manufacturing defective cigarettes which resulted in Mr. William’s death due to Pharyngeal cancer.

The plaintiff was represented by attorneys David Finger and Allan Kaiser. The defendant in this case, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co was represented by attorneys R. Dal Burton and Jack Williams.


Total damages: 5 million
Williams: 15%
R.J. Reynolds: 85%
