Summary
In this opioid proceeding, plaintiff state contends defendant pharmacy chain bears responsibility for the impact of the opioid epidemic on residents of the state. Defendant pharmacy claims it was initially misled by opioid manufacturers as to the dangers of the drug, and it later worked diligently to quell the flood of illicit opioid use.
