In this Civil Rights and Criminal Law litigation proceeding, plaintiff Mark Johnson alleged U.S. Security Associates of falsely putting him under imprisonment maliciously prosecuting him after the plaintiff was accused of shoplifting by a staff of the defendant in a Publix supermarket, the plaintiff was subsequently acquitted in the ensuing criminal trial. The plaintiff at the time of the incident was an assistant United States attorney and the counsel of the plaintiff argued that the incident had seriously hampered plaintiffs career.
The plaintiff was represented by attorneys Scott Zappolo and Jeffery Farwell. The defendant in this case, U.S. Security Associates was represented by attorneys Daniel Novigrod, Christopher Stratton and Dale Hightower.
