In this Business organization litigation oral argument, Plaintiff-appellees Liberty Media Corporation and Liberty Media LLC sought a declaratory and injunctive relief against the defendant-appellant Bank of New York Mellon Trust for Liberty Media Corporation’s proposed split of its Liberty’s Capital Group and Starz Group businesses into a new publicly traded company.

Appellant, Bank of New York Mellon was represented by attorney Joel Friedlander. Appellee, Liberty Media Corporation LLC was represented by attorney Donald Wolfe.
