In this Engle Progeny Tobacco Litigation proceeding, plaintiff Karen Whitney alleged R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co and Philip Morris Tobacco Co of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes manufactured by the companies, which led the plaintiff to get addicted to smoking and of being liable for manufacturing defective cigarettes, which caused the plaintiff Lung cancer.
The plaintiff was represented by attorneys Gregory Prysock, Todd McPharlin, Keith Mitnik, Robert Kelley and Katherine Massa. The defendants in this case were represented by attorneys Mark Heise, Deborah Kuchler, Stanley Davis, Ursula Henninger, Jennifer Kane and Geoffery Michael.
