In this medical malpractice litigation En Blanc oral argument before the Nevada Supreme court, the plaintiff’s counsels argued that nurses shouldn’t be allowed to testify about how the hepatitis C outbreak occurred, whether through the dirty instruments or by misusing the vials of medicine as they don’t have the required qualification for testifying in these matters. The hearing is for a case in which the plaintiff had alleged negligence on part of pharmaceutical companies by manufacturing larger vials, which were used in the treatment of the plaintiff at the endoscopy clinic, ran by Dipak Desai.

The plaintiff in this case, Henry Chanin was represented by attorney Robert Eglet. The defendant in this case, Dipak Desai was represented by attorney Daniel Polsenberg.
