In the proceedings, plaintiffs Wilkins Reynolds, Kathleen Rossitto, Riley Wilkinson and Jason Young alleged Hoffman-La Roche of being liable for not adequately warning that the drug Accutane manufactured by the company could cause Inflammatory Bowel Disease, due to which all the plaintiffs developed ulcerative colitis.
