In this automotive industry commercial litigation proceeding, plaintiff Fabian Guillermo alleged Kia Motors America Inc of violating Consumer Warranty Act (Civ. Code, § 1790 et seq.) commonly referred to as the California Lemon Law. The plaintiff claimed that his brand new 2006 Kia Sorrento began malfunctioning immediately after he purchased the car from the dealership and when the plaintiff requested to replace the car, the defendant refused.

The plaintiff was represented by attorneys Brian Cline and Amanda Gray. Kia Motors America Inc was represented by attorney Julian Senior.
