In this Engle Progeny proceeding, Plaintiff John Goveia alleged R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., Philip Morris Tobacco Co and Philip Morris USA, Inc of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking which led his wife Mary Goveia to get addicted to smoking and resulted in her death from COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
