Plaintiffs cite violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act by Wang and conversion by his wife, Chen as the basis for the complaint. Wang was the director of R&D for Enargy, during the course of his employment he developed numerous trade secrets. When his employment was terminated, he encrypted the files then copied them to a personal device and deleted the original on Enargy's server. Chen, his wife, withdrew $330,000 from a corporate account.
