Dillon v. Massey Energy

In this Energy Toxic Torts class action litigation proceedings, plaintiffs Woodrow and Elva Dillon alleged Massey Energy and its subsidiaries of negligence and creating a public nuisance by building a coal silo 235 feet away from the Marsh Fork Elementary school, which exposed the plaintiffÂ’s two children and several other children to toxic coal dust.

The plaintiff was represented by attorneys Van Bunch and Kevin Thompson. The defendant in this case, Massey Energy was represented by attorneys Jon Anderson and Daniel Stickler.
