5-day auto-negligence jury trial in Sarasota, Florida.

The accident occurred on May 2, 2005. While attempting a left turn the defendant's pick-up truck collided with a Ford Bronco. The Bronco's driver suffered a broken pelvis, broken arm, broken fingers, and a facial laceration. The issue before the jury was damages.

The jury returned a verdict of $1.82M ($120K in lost earnings, $350K in lost earning ability, $700K in future medical expenses, $300k in past pain and suffering, and $350K in future pain and suffering).


Loss of earnings: Past-120,000, Future-350,000
Future Medical Expenses: 700,000
Non-Economic Damages: Past-300,000, Future-350.000
