In this Engle Progeny Tobacco Litigation Proceeding, Plaintiff Alicia Dombey alleged R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co and Philip Morris Tobacco Co of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes manufactured by the companies, which led her husband Daniel Dombey to get addicted to smoking and being liable for manufacturing defective cigarettes, which resulted in Daniel Dombey’s death due to bladder Cancer in January 1996.
The Plaintiff was represented by attorneys Allan Kaiser and Jeffrey Sloman. The defense in this case comprised of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co and Philip Morris Tobacco Co. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co was represented by attorney John Walker. Philip Morris Tobacco Co was represented by attorneys Robert McCarter and Keri Arnold.
