During closings of a $40 million trial against the city of Long Beach, California for the brain and spinal injuries an accident victim contends he suffered in a rollover, Daniel Balaban outlines physical evidence he says proves the road was unsafe.

"Just where we say the curve gets tight," Balaban told jurors as he pointed to a spot in a photo of the roadway, "that curb is getting hit, and hit, and hit, and hit, and hit, and hit, and hit.

"It's getting one black eye after the other," Balaban added referring to marks on the curb where he claims the turn was dangerously tight and without sufficient warning.

Jurors ultimately found for the city.
