Mark Lanier Hammers J&J to Set Up $4.69B Win in Talc-Cancer Trial

Mark Lanier tells jurors Johnson & Johnson plays on feelings of emotional trust exemplified by traditional use of the company’s baby powder. Lanier represents 22 plaintiffs suing the company for ovarian cancer they say was caused by long-term use of the company’s talc-based products. Jurors awarded $4.69 billion in damages.
