Brian Panish tells jurors DePuy, Inc. sought to deflect blame from its defective metal hip implant by highlighting irrelevant medical conditions Loren Kransky, an implant recipient, suffered. Kransky, represented by Panish, claimed the implant broke down in his body, poisoning him. Jurors awarded him $8.3 million in the first of thousands of suits to go to trial against the manufacturer.
