Brian Panish tells jurors defense attorneys will try to minimize the injuries Maria Francisco suffered when a public bus on which she was riding went over a speed bump, sending her airborne and causing her to land on a hard plastic seat. Jurors awarded $15.3 million in the case against the Alameda Contra Costa Transit District.
