Defense Expert in Malpractice Suit: No “Red Flags” When Child Came to ER with Fatal Thrombosis

Dr. Luis Villa testifies that there would have been no tell-tale symptoms that 15-year-old Hailey Chapman was suffering from potentially fatal blood clots when she visited the emergency room before her death, but that the clots were significant enough to become fatal soon after she left the ER.
