William Gage tells jurors that evidence, including testimony from urogynecology expert Dr. Mark Mokrzycki, shoots down plaintiff’s contentions that Johnson& Johnson’s Ethicon division acted with malicious intent or wanton disregard when developing its Prolift pelvic mesh product. Elizabeth Hrymoc, who claims that she began to suffer from chronic, severe pain after insertion of the Prolift, is suing Ethicon, seeking both compensatory and punitive damages.
