Jill Siciliano Claims Negligent Driver, Not Poorly Designed Roadway, Caused Crash that Cost Man His Leg

Jill Siciliano tells jurors a negligent taxi driver caused the crash that injured Amri Ekbatani. Siciliano represents the California Department of Transportation, or Caltrans, which Ekbatani claims is responsible for the crash by failing to properly maintain the road. Ekbatani, a former football player at the University of California, Los Angeles, required 13 surgeries and the partial amputation of his leg because of the collision.
