Chris Panatier tells jurors Johnson & Johnson denied that asbestos was in its signature talcum baby powder despite knowing the product contained asbestos. Panatier represents Tina Herford, who claims she developed mesothelioma from inhaling asbestos in J&J’s talc-based products. Herford is suing J&J and Imerys Talc America, the consumer giant’s supplier of the mineral, in the first talc asbestos case to go to trial.
