Expert Says Student Suffers from PTSD After Taking Part in School Drug Sting

Plaintiff’s expert witness, Dr. Nancy Kaser-Boyd, tells jurors that a 12-year-old middle school student's behavioral problems became worse after the student’s participation in a drug sting. The doctor attributed the behavioral problems to PTSD arising from the incident. A California jury issued a verdict in excess of $1 million in a lawsuit brought by the student and his parents against the Los Angeles Unified School District.
