Reynolds attorney Frank Bayuk tells jurors that there is no evidence that tobacco marketing tactics caused Andrew Schleider to become addicted to cigarettes, which is a required element of Diane Schleider’s Engle progeny wrongful death suit. Diane Schleider is suing the tobacco manufacturer, claiming its concealment of smoking’s dangers ultimately caused her husband’s fatal cancer.
