Maria Cardenas’s attorney, Douglas Monsour, tells jurors in closing arguments that expert testimony from Boston Scientific concerning the safety of its Obtryx pelvic mesh device conflicted with written articles and the company’s own internal documents. Cardenas’ suit against Boston Scientific alleges the Obtryx was defectively designed and eroded into her urethra.
