Philip Gold says St. Mary’s Medical Center is trying to avoid responsibility for its lack of medical equipment during brain surgery performed on Kwai Ling Chan-Leung, who never recovered full consciousness from the surgery. Leung’s guardian is suing St. Mary’s for malpractice.
