Summary

Case Description: Petitioner qualified for Medicaid on the basis of indigence. Petitoner’s doctors have recommended reduction mammaplasty. Petitioner’s claim was denied by Delaware Medicaid. After denial Petitioner, exhausted administrative appeals through a FAIR hearing, which is required by federal law for Medicaid appeals. Petitioner was again denied and appealed to the Superior Court. The Superior Court affirmed the ruling made by the administrative agency.
